Levant Homes: Curated Cool 

Located in the historic district of Inglewood, this project was an opportunity to bring warmth, character, and a sense of curation to a modern new build. Collaborating with Levant Homes, our goal was to elevate the home beyond the expected—layering in thoughtful details and a distinct point of view to create a space that feels both refined and lived-in.

While the architectural foundation is clean and contemporary, the interiors were designed to introduce a sense of softness and charm. Custom elements—including a statement fireplace, a sculptural curved island, and subtle plaster detailing—add depth and visual interest, while creating moments that feel both intentional and unique.

Materiality plays a key role throughout the home. Variated natural stone brings movement and richness, balanced by a warm, neutral palette that allows each element to stand on its own while still feeling cohesive. The overall effect is understated yet impactful—an environment that feels calm, elevated, and quietly sophisticated.

A curated mix of modern and antique pieces introduces a sense of nostalgia and personality, reinforcing our belief that the most compelling spaces are those that feel collected over time. This interplay of old and new gives the home its signature AVD layering—resulting in interiors that are not only beautiful, but deeply considered and enduring.
