Bright Homes: Parisian Modern 

This newly completed spec home for Bright Custom Homes was designed as a sophisticated blend of Parisian elegance and New York sensibility — timeless, tailored, and rich in character. From the moment you enter, the home unfolds with a series of thoughtfully curated architectural moments, each designed to feel elevated yet effortlessly livable.

A sculptural curved entryway sets the tone, introducing the soft architectural language carried throughout the home. In the kitchen, a custom framed hood fan detail creates a striking focal point, balancing classic detailing with a clean modern sensibility. The living room was designed with a distinctly Parisian influence, featuring ornate moulding and layered architectural details that give the space a sense of history and permanence — intentionally moving away from the feel of a typical new build.

Throughout the home, dentil moulding, warm layered textures, and carefully considered millwork details add depth and character. The primary ensuite combines richly toned cabinetry, natural stone countertops, and refined detailing to create a luxurious and calming retreat. In contrast, the office and mudroom embrace deeper, moodier cabinet colours that add richness and sophistication to the overall palette.

To complete the home, we styled each space with our signature mix of antiques and contemporary furnishings, alongside curated artwork, lighting, and accessories that bring soul and personality to the interiors. The result is a design-forward home that feels timeless, collected, and deeply intentional — a modern classic rooted in both European charm and contemporary city living.
