Design Crush – Danielle Moudaber London House

Designer Danielle Moudaber, created her dream home in London and it is to die for! Her bold and eccentric style shines through with the use of her favourite shade of blue on the walls mixed with white, ornate and swirling moldings. Her goal was to create a space that will encourage creativity and we think it’s safe to say she was successful!Moudaber is a well travelled designer, living in different places of the world. Her travels were her inspiration, mixing styles ranging from Modern to Classic, Baroque to Rococo and Art Deco, Minimal to Greco-Roman.The sofas and staircase are designed by Moudaber herself. The staircase is a focal point of the house with the ribbon like railings joining the first and second floor. The plush silk carpet that runs up the staircase gives off the impression of a soft staircase.

The floors are a painted oak with black and white designs. The black stripes that turn into a maze-like design is the perfect contrast to the peaceful blue walls and swirling white decorations.

The rococo details are highlighted in the Master Bedroom with the use of French boiserie. The arches leads into a workspace and a closet, lined with those silvery antique mirrors.
