Design Crush – Hoxton Hotel, Amsterdam

During Aly’s trip with Metropolitan Flooring, Evoke Flooring and Kentwood Flooring, he had the opportunity to stay at the Hoxton Hotel in Amsterdam, and fell in love with this incredible building. Every detail is so well thought out, it’s hard not to develop a hard-core crush on it.

A unique and stylish combination of patterns and textures make this space feel classy and comfortable.

The Hoxton features many little social nodal points throughout the space, making it feel like one big living room, with plenty of plush seating and fluffy pillows.

A gorgeous wooden spiral staircase connects two floors, and creates a visually interesting and stunning focal point.

An incredible courtyard-style space makes the perfect little cafe; a long window wall with French doors brings the outdoors in making the space feel flexible and organic.

The space features an adorable blue and white floor tile to bring the wonder of the sky onto the floor in all its pixelated glory.

The guest rooms feel luxe, and glamorous with retro flare. Dark wood, and upholstered headboards draw your eye to the complexity of every little detail. Surrounded by industrial windows and modern fixtures this place is the epitome of mid-century modern.

We’re obsessed with how much thought went into this hotel, and believe that it’s the little details that make this hotel so extraordinary. Next time you’re in Amsterdam, check this place out – it’s AVD approved!
