Friday Favourites – Reclaim to Fame Edition

Happy Friday, design lovers. This week we have partnered with Reclaim to Fame, a local shop here in Calgary that sells mid-century vintage pieces. We have gone through their amazing inventory and hand selected five fabulous pieces. The AVD team lovesĀ finding vintage pieces for our projects — they add so much character and charm to a space, making it unique and different from all the other designs out there.

Katie is feeling charmed by this Vintage Chrome Chair. Its deconstructed appearance makes it feel raw and real, yet totally stylish and modern. A shiny chrome appearance allows light to bounce off it making this piece really stand out! perfect for any edgy dining room.

Aly is obsessed with this Hovmand Olsen, Teak, Bentwood Chair. A gorgeous silhouette that looks effortlessly structured and refined. This would make a killer dining chair, that all of your guests would be drooling over.

Kristy wants to waste an afternoon away in this completely cozy Vintage Hanging Basket Chair. A cage-like basket hangs from a white metal frame, which provides a striking, and nearly impossible looking structure that you can’t help but fall in love with.

Benjamin is digging this retro Boomerang Walnut Coffee Table. A classic in the mid-century design world that are such a unique and interesting piece of furniture. The perfect piece to wrap a series of chairs around to create the perfect little conversation area, or as the center of attention in your living room. How fun!

Brittany thinks this Vintage Brass Plant Stand is just too cute. The perfect home for trailing plants this brass beauty has some serious style. Everyone knows brass is back in a big way, and this plant stand is such a good example of why. This stand would look incredible in pretty much any room of the house.
