Project of the Month – Bridgeland Residence

We love our Bridgeland Residence project! Because of its smaller scale it provided us with a few challenges, which had many rewards in the end; this house was transformed into a completely cozy and charming family home in inner city, Calgary.

We wanted to keep the walls a soft grey to create a beautiful neutral palette that would allow us to play with various pops of colour, such as bright orange and striking teal. This geometric stair runner is the perfect addition to this home and makes the entryway feel fun and fabulous.

The living room we really wanted to focus on adding as much seating as we could so it would be functional for the whole family as well as any guests. A great sectional, a couple of simple chairs as well as a long hearth really pull the entire room together and make for a great conversational area.

The kitchen we wanted to keep light and bright, and keep it open to the dining room. A killer marble tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances and white cabinets ensure that this kitchen will remain timeless and classic!

The powder room and master bedroom is where we decided a little drama was in order. A stunning floral wallpaper in a moody charcoal allows the white and brass fixtures to pop and add the dramatic punch this space required. In the bedroom, wall to wall curtains make the space feel intimate and charming; the perfect retreat from the world at the end of a long day.
